Bases: Image2MixedDataset

ISIC skin lesions with the annotated lesion size as confounder.

If <dataset_path>/data.csv is missing, _prepare_dataset downloads the image and segmentation metadata plus segs.zip from Zenodo record 14201693, extracts the masks to masks/, measures for every lesion the fraction of its mask above half intensity, and writes imgs, label, confounder - benign vs. malignant as the label, and a mask area above the median area as the confounder.

Parameters:

  • config (DataConfig) – Uses dataset_path.

  • **kwargs – Forwarded to Image2MixedDataset.
